Well I feel like in a way she could have been mentioned before in season 1 during the episode Home.
Where Mercedes faints and Quinn’s in the nurses office with her and she talks about how she hated herself for eating a cookie and has fainted out of not eating. That kind of is a tad foreshadowing about Lucy, wouldn’t you say?
